A tax-effective way to make a year-end gift to the Swiss Center is a charitable gift rollover from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).

The IRA Charitable Rollover Act permits people age 70½ or older to make tax-free gifts of up to $100,000 directly from their IRAs to nonprofit organizations like the Swiss Center. Please talk with yo

Bequests are an easy way to make a gift to the Swiss Center through a donor’s estate. Bequests allow donors to make commitments without using assets that they may want to use in other ways.

Include the Swiss Center in your will by using a codicil; a codicil that benefits the Swiss Center might be expressed as a dollar amount, a percentage of the estate or remainder, or a specific object.

Estate planning

To make a gift of life insurance, donors can transfer their policy so that the Swiss Center becomes the owner and beneficiary. Donors may then take an immediate income-tax deduction. By continuing to pay the premiums, donors may deduct each payment in subsequent tax years.
